The Long Haul

I just arrived home after spending two weeks in beautiful Vietnam!
It was such an adventure and packed holiday, even though we did suffer A LOT of rain and a few days of food poisoning we still had a ripper of a time!
The flight home though was not so enjoyable. A very long 17 hour journey from start to finish (8 of which were spent at Changi Airport) followed by the strongest air conditioning for 7 hours straight.
After arriving home, I had a rest and then got to unpacking. I love re-opening some of the little things that were brought along the way. Dad set up the hammock and it practically fells like we never left, except that we now have some amazing artwork and photography around the house. (These are must buys in Vietnam)
I’ll write a detailed post of what we did on our trip and more about Vietnam soon.
The worst part of any holiday is having to leave but a shorter journey would have made it a bit more comfortable!
